The folks at Chico's Dive Shop were wonderful in handling the group from LandMark Education, staying at the Westin: they loaned us prescription goggles even though we brought no credit cards; they fitted us cheerfully with fins; the shuttle to the catamarAn was fun and well-accomplished by the men who pushed us off the beach; the ride to Los Arcos was beautiful; the "skipper" was very friendly and helpful, and tried to see to it that we had the best time possible. The little gal from New York was the very best. She is a great asset to your venture. She's very professional, keeps an eye on everyone, saw to everyone's needs, no matter what their physical capabilities, was a gracious hostess to boot, and just made the trip, all around, enjoyable for EVERYONE. I got back from PV a week ago and just wanted to let you know that I took the PADI course with Erik. He was one of the best instructor I’ve ever had in anything.
He was patient, clear and knew exactly what he was doing. Having confidence in the instructor is important when you are under 40 feet of water with 100
pounds of weight for the first time and Erik was able to get me down to see some pretty cool things. Please pass this on to Erik as I want to thank him again for
the great job he did.
The lady in the Marriot pool (Isela) was great as was your whole staff (especially “Father Pillipe” – he has a lot of children).
I was impressed with the whole operation and will definitely recommend your shop to others.
Thanks for adding a great experience to my vacation. Hopefully I will meet you in person next year when I come back. Steve
